This qualification is designed for professionals who draw on advanced expertise, practical capability, and leadership experience to perform management functions across diverse industries and organisational environments.

At this level, individuals exercise sound judgement and initiative when planning and carrying out a broad range of leadership and management activities. They are responsible for their own performance as well as the outcomes achieved by their teams, operating within established organisational frameworks.

Participants apply strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to source, evaluate, and integrate information from multiple channels, share knowledge with others, and develop innovative responses to complex or non-routine challenges.

This course prepares learners to take responsibility for strategic outcomes, demonstrate initiative and judgement, and lead teams with a high degree of autonomy in complex and dynamic business environments.

  • Must of 18 years of age,
  • To gain entry into this course, participants should have successfully completed year 12 or equivalent level of studies.
  • An IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent is required for entry into this program. However if a student has an IELTS score of 5.5, the student will be required to complete an English Language course to achieve the required standard prior to commencement of the course.
  • Every learner must go through a Pre-Training Review (PTR) Process. The PTR process includes a PTR form, mandatory LLN Test and a computer self-assessment test which is reviewed by the Student Support Services team (Student Support Officer, LLN Support Officer, Trainer and Assessor & the Training Manager). The PTR process ensures that educational and support needs of every learner are determined and that the learner is placed into a suitable course based on their career goals, interests, skills and knowledge assessed.

Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:

  • Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions). or
  • Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.

This training product has the following specific student identification requirements for an application for enrolment to be accepted.

Minimum identification requirements that must be met prior to enrolment are:

  • The provision of the student’s Unique Student Identifier (USI), and
  • Valid photo identification (for assessment purposes).
